But for the keto diet, we make it differently with a variety of ingredients making it lower in carbs.

A typical keto quiche carb ranges between 3-8 gm.

But the happy news is that we can make keto quiche even lower than 2 gm of net carbs.

Quiches are not suited for general diets as it contains high fat and calories.

But for a keto diet, we can surely make it dairy-free and make it keto-friendly.

  • 2 tbsp almond or coconut milk
  • Dash of Salt and Pepper
  • 1/5 of an onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chili (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Whisk a whole egg with 2tbsp milk well in a microwave-friendly mug.
  2. Once when no lumps are there, add the onion and green chili and you can even add small pieces of carrots or coriander leaves to it.
  3. Put in the microwave and set the timer to 50 seconds or 1 minute.

  5. Mix in vanilla extract and baking powder before adding in water one tablespoon at a time until the dough becomes soft but not too wet or sticky (you may need more or less than 3 tablespoons).
